Short guides for getting the most out of MyYoda.
Quick Questions
Now and then MyYoda asks a quick question in a small popup when you open the app or your dashboard — for example “Does your child have a test or exam coming up?” or “Which subject worries you most right now?”. Most take one tap.
When MyYoda isn’t sure about something it has noticed, it may ask a follow-up. App users may get these as a notification, at most once a week.
Tap Not now to close it for the moment, or Skip this question if you’d rather not answer it now — MyYoda may ask it again in a few weeks. After you answer or skip one, MyYoda waits a while before asking something new. Your answers appear in What MyYoda Knows, where you can change or remove them.
With more than one child, each question names the child it’s about. MyYoda asks about the child you made a worksheet for most recently first.
Practice suggestions: when a chapter shows Needs work on the Progress page and hasn’t had a worksheet for 5 days, the popup may suggest one instead — for example “Zizzi needs more practice on Percentage. Make a practice worksheet?”. Make it opens Create with the child, subject and chapter already picked. Not now hides that chapter for two weeks. If you haven’t made any worksheet for 5 days, the app may send this as a notification, at most once a week.
